The programme is principally based on the traditional curriculum of the ‘Ālimah course and is strategically designed to be taught in the most traditional ways via the most advanced methods available.

Design
This program caters especially to females seeking to acquire a deeper understanding of Islamic knowledge, alongside their obligations towards work, family and academic education.
Languages such as Arabic, Urdu, Zulu and English are taught, allowing students access to both classical and modern literature from our rich Islāmic heritage.
Foundation
Being a traditional Sunni Islāmic seminary, the Madrasah aims to spiritually nourish learners with the theoretical and physical components of Islām; providing an in depth study of all modules that, combined, forms a detailed understanding of Dīn.

The Course at a Glance
Syllabus
The Online ‘Ālimah course is immensely rewarding, both spiritually and academically.
It is designed to equip students with the key Islāmic sciences needed to develop a thorough understanding of Islām under the guidance of learned scholars.
Subjects covered:
- Classical Arabic (Fuṣḥah) with an introduction to colloquial Arabic.
- Key sciences of Fiqh (Islāmic jurisprudence),
- Principles of legal methodology (Usūl al Fiqh),
- Beliefs (Aqīdah),
- Prophetic traditions and its methodologies (Usūl al Ḥadīth)
- Commentary of the Qur’ān,
- Biography of the Holy Prophet Muḥammad (Peace Be Upon Him) (Sīrah)
- Biographies of the Saḥābah (May Allāh be pleased with them) (Tārīkh),
- Spiritual development (Tasawwuf and Tablīgh)
- Discussions on a variety of contemporary issues as well as aspects pertaining to women
- Oratory skills
- Writing skills

- Graphic design
- Personal development
- Counselling
- Students will also have the opportunity to memorise the Holy Qur’ān.
