Ālim Fāḍil Course

Study with Us

Courses at Madrasah Urwah Bin Az Zubayr are precisely curated and developed by our team of scholars and senior ʿUlamā.

Quality

Using the advanced methods at our disposal, all core subjects are taught in their pristine form with focused objectives and goals.

Being a traditional Sunni Islāmic seminary, the Madrasah aims to equip learners with the theoretical and physical components of Islām, grounding them in the Islāmic way of life, as well as in the current cultural climate of the world.

Da’wah

The Madrasah places great importance in creating opportunities for students to carry out Da’wah activities.

These include teaching primary school children basic Islāmic education, establishing and facilitating classes for new Muslims, as well as visiting the local Prisons.

Multilingual

The Madrasah recognizes the world as a global village and strives to provide the students with opportunities to gain multilingual skills.

Languages such as Arabic, Urdu, Zulu and English are taught, allowing students access to both classical and modern literature from our rich Islāmic heritage.

Students are also taught the art of verbally communicating in the different languages thus equipping them with the vital skills required to spread the beautiful religion of Islām to the wider South African public and the world.

Field Trips

Regularly the Madrasah schedules a weekend, field based and tarbiyah outing where students, Asātidha and guests experience learning, team building, fun-filled activities, meaningful discussions and debates all in a new setting and environment outside of the traditional classroom.
