Effort

Madrasah personnel volunteer to clean the prayer facilities and amenities of the Middelburg Muslim Cemetery.

Inspiration

During the time of Nabī Ṣallallāhu ʾAlayhi Wa Sallam there were two companions who would generally dig the graves.

These two illustrious companions were Abū Talḥā al Anṣārī Raḍiyallāhu ʿanhu and Abū ʿUbaidah bin Jarraḥ Raḍiyallāhu ʿanhu.

Abū Talḥā Raḍiyallāhu ʿanhu would dig the Laḥd style grave and Abū ʿUbaidah Radhiyallahu Anhu would dig the Šhiqq style grave.

Historians mention that Abū Talḥā al Anṣārī Raḍiyallāhu ʿanhu dug the grave of Nabī Ṣallallāhu ʾAlayhi Wa Sallam

In honour of this Ṣaḥābī Raḍiyallāhu ʿanhu it was decided that this project be named after him (Raḍiyallāhu ʿanhu).
